About the event

Moving from the known into the unknown in some ways defines the very essence of what it is to be human. We are organisms of change, and thrive from the challenge of the new, even when we rail against it. Whether your transition is moving on from the end of a relationship or into a new one, from study into work, from one home into another, one city to another, becoming a parent, losing a parent, witnessing the ways our bodies change as we age, transitioning from youth to adult to middle age, or old age, how we transit (or journey) these experiences is in many ways how we live our lives. Using pithy prompts, other poems of transition as inspiration, and playful writing techniques, come with Sharon to the edge and see how it feels to jump.

This poetry workshop is suitable for writers of any level. All are…
